What if service to humanity wasn’t a position of lesser standing, but one of divine leadership? Understanding Tarnas: Service as a Divine State
In Lithuanian, the word tarnas is a common noun meaning servant or attendant. I want to focus on the servant part of tarnas. I chose that word because I want the feeling of servitude to feel uplifted and different. I want to put a new spin on it, so to speak.
I am one in a state of tarnas, in servitude to humanity. We have all been in this state; through my teachings and our practices, we are essentially serving humanity.
We often hear the word, “I am a servant of God,” and yes, that is true, but servant does not mean beneath. To be in service to means to provide for, enhance, help, and support, and in our case, it means to help and support the evolution of human consciousness.
This is an honorable position, and in this case, I want us to think about being a servant as being a leader. Just as being in servitude does not mean being below, it does not mean being above; it is a divine position.
Service Begins with Yourself
You can even say that you are a servant to yourself. Being in conscious service of oneself promotes divine well-being.
You can ask how you can be in tarnas to yourself and to others. When you ask how you can be of service, you open up the pathways to achieve a greater and greater skill set; it is an unlocking question.
Take note of how it feels when you look at yourself in the mirror and ask, “How can I be of service?” I hope it feels exciting to unlock this pathway of divine servitude.
A Power State, not a Submissive One
This does not mean giving up your power. It is in no way a submissive state; it is a power state. This state gives you strength. I know it has made me feel strong, wise, empathic, and caring.
We have been on the front line of the awakening for many years. I want to acknowledge being of service through my teachings, and all that we have done; it has been a divine act of service.
We Are the Gift
It is important to show the service aspect of what we do, because it shows how much we can give and how much we have gifted upon humanity, which means we are a gift. (We meaning all who are in service.) But not just gifted—THE GIFT.
This does not mean that we are above those we serve, just as we are not below them. We can lead and protect those we are in service of; we can protect ourselves and them. The attacks or obstacles thrown by the “shades” will bounce off our energy fields.
Now is the time to shine our lights bright. Do not be afraid. Stand strong. We (Autists) are coming even further out of the closet and will be even more outspoken than ever.
I am in service to humanity and will always be of service to humanity; that is why I am here. That is why I have been gifted to the planet Earth.
You Are a Divine Gift
Please see yourselves as gifts, as I see myself as a gift. I want this teaching to make you think even higher of yourselves. Think of the word servant differently. You are a divine gift.
When you ask how you can be of service, you may be surprised at the response you get. Acknowledging that you are in service is very important.
Moving Forward in Sacred Service
Tarnas is a return to power, not a retreat from it. When you recognize yourself as a servant to humanity’s evolution, and to your own, you step into the very leadership Daniel describes: strong, wise, protected, and gifted. Ask yourself daily how you can be of service, and let that question keep opening new pathways forward.
