There is a moment, right before the tears fall, when everything else disappears. Grief, joy, release — it doesn’t matter which. In that instant, you are more present than you’ve ever been. Daniel calls this the power of “Tears of Razes,” and in this teaching, he explains something most of us have never considered: that our tears are not simply an emotional response, but a form of raw energy capable of dissolving what no longer serves us and clearing space for something new. If you’ve ever wondered why a good cry can leave you feeling lighter, even transformed, this teaching offers a spiritual awakening lens for exactly why that happens — and how to consciously work with it.
The Catalytic Power of Tears
I have talked about the power of tears. I’d like to go into more detail about how powerful tears really are. When one cries, they are in a state of complete acceptance. It is one of the most beautiful expressions there are.
When I talk about tears of “Razes,” I want to explain how the power of tears can begin to change physical reality.
When one is fully enveloped in the expression of their tears and grief, all reality falls away for that moment, because that individual is truly present with their fears and emotions, and as a result, reality can seem to crumble away.
So when I say raze, physical reality may not literally crumble, but there is a crumbling away of energy that can change the physical reality for that person and those close to them. Tears hold a profound, transformative power. The concept of Tears of Razes perfectly captures what happens in moments of deep grief or acceptance. When someone is entirely present with their pain, the old emotional and energetic structures literally raze, or crumble, to the ground. It isn’t just an emotional release; it alters their energetic frequency, completely shifting how they experience and interact with physical reality from that moment forward.
Tears as Energy and Transition
Building on that, tears are so much more than water — they are pure, raw energy. When someone mourns a death, an illness, or a broken relationship, those tears radiate outward to demolish what once was and clear the ground. As things crumble away, in a process that is divinely orchestrated, the energy of the tears becomes embedded into the wreckage, acting as the ultimate catalyst for transitioning into a new reality.
Healing the Past Through Memory
This is what makes memory so powerful. We often revisit memories not just to look back, but to heal the past by bringing it into the present moment. In terms of grief, stepping into those memories creates the exact tears we need to dissolve old wounds and rebuild anew.
An Evolutionary Force
Ultimately, tears are an evolutionary force and a catalytic source of life. By letting them flow naturally — and even placing them onto your heart space — you allow them to serve you. They are capable of bringing light into the absolute deepest darkness and birthing new energy from what has been demolished. The next time you cry, know that it is a beautiful, life-changing moment, and allow yourself to be in the full power of that experience.
Planting Seeds in the Rubble
This addition highlights a beautiful truth: conscious crying acts as a form of intentional alchemy. When we allow ourselves to fully feel the sensation from head to toe—even if we initially fight it—those tears plant beautiful seeds directly into our energy fields and bodies.
It transforms a moment of dreadful collapse into a sacred, evolutionary space where the mind, heart, and body can heal, accept, and make room for brand-new growth.
A Closing Thought

Daniel’s teaching invites us to stop treating tears as something to manage or minimize, and instead to see them as one of the body’s most direct paths to spiritual growth. The next time grief or overwhelm rises in you, consider letting it move all the way through — not around. What crumbles in that moment may be exactly what needed to fall away.
If this teaching resonated with you, Daniel explores many more of these energetic principles — grid work, unconditional love, and humanity’s evolutionary shift — in Gods in the Game: Messages on the Awakening and Consciousness Shift.
