Polarity: Complementary Opposites Creating Balance and Wholeness
Polarity refers to everything having an opposite—negative and positive, masculine and feminine, light and dark, action and reaction—where the two poles attract each other as complementary forces that work together to create balance. Examples include light and dark, feminine and masculine, north and south, hot and cold. Polarity lacks judgment, which distinguishes it from duality. When judging situations that appear to be opposites (such as good and bad), that creates duality, which in turn creates contrast and potentially chaos. In contrast, polarity creates balance. Polarities occur so that Source can experience more of Itself—there cannot be light without darkness, and Source created darkness so that It could know Light. Both masculine and feminine are divine, and all Source Energies are both masculine and feminine in balanced expression. As humanity evolves, the male and female physical forms will continue, but each person’s masculine and feminine energies will become more balanced. This restoration of balance is part of the Divine Feminine rising—not to dominate the masculine, but to restore Sophic Energy, the balance of both.
